here in philadelphia, originating in mexico. thates postal workers were in on it for at least a year. from the outside, ate period to be business as usual, at the west market post office on friday afternoon, but a scandal is brewing inside. the postal worker 42 year-old steven williams and his collogue 35 year-old felicia charleston, could go to federal prison for trafficking marijuana, through packages not to west philadelphia area. according to the u.s. attorney 's office, both conspired with seven other people to deliver large quantities of the pot. >> you have public officials who have duties that they owed to the united states postal service, and they violated the trust of the government, and they disrespected their duties >> reporter: assistant u.s. attorney anita eve work on the year long case and she says they would divert those packages to alleged coconspirators. >> we have had surveillance agents, we had intercepted

telephone conversations. >> reporter: indictment also goes on to say felicia charleston also diverted packages filled with pot, authorities say marijuana this many cases came from mexico, through california, and trekly to pennsylvania. >> lost everything. lost everything. for that. you know, plus jail time. >> reporter: there man asked not to share his name on television but says he works for another mail delivery service and was happy to share his opinion about the allegations. >> that is crazy. i wouldn't want to lose my job for that. i mean, for something like that, that is not enough money you lose your job, your pension. >> reporter: this is a federal crime, both postal workers could face life behind bars if not, they have to at least serve ten years behind bars, other seven people, coconspirators alleged coconspirators they are not federal employees or postal employees, the post office sent out a statement condemning the allegations. the reporting live tonight i'm

philadelphia detectives busy overnight. a 19 year-old man was fatally shot last night on the 2400 block of seventh sixth avenue. another man was shot execution style outside of a frankford bar. four other overnight shootings happened city wide and in all police say two were killed and seven were injured. >> ruling overturned, new information, in the the mysterious death of the former president of the cooper health system. to take the new jersey medical examiner, changed john char dan's manner of death from suicide to undetermined. the decision came after sheridan's son accused the somerset county prosecutor of jumping to conclusion in the 2014 case. the office ruled sheridan killed his wife, set their montgomery township home on fire and then killed himself. uber driver who allegedly beat up a passenger last month is facing charges. police say 57 year-old major steve fuller attack joseph fussco of cherry hill. fussco want aid ride back from new jersey from a holiday part ate kavanaugh's in university

storm some light snow and sleet will break out during the day tomorrow. what to expect moving toward, windy creasing this evening, that is good news, cold, cloudy but dry tonight into tomorrow morning and it is tomorrow, especially midday that we will see a period of light snow, possibly milk with sleet, freezing rain, coming up we will time it out on future weather and tell you how much you can expect where you live and then we have another warm up to talk about in the seven day all coming up when i join you inside, back to you. the entire state of the new jersey is reporting high levels of seasonal flu and officials say that is, school attendance rates. health officials say schools are seeing double digit absentee rates, because of a flu and noro virus. some students who managed to make it the to school are being sent right back home by the school's medical staff. >> since we got back from break we will send home at least two or three students a day with fevers, runny nose, cough. >> officials say practicing simple techniques like proper hand washing can help keep

this time around uprightinged roads, i don't think it is that big of a deal. take it slow tomorrow but more of a nuisance then anything else. the more jarring things will be the change from 67 degrees, to snow, and sleet, and temperatures in the 30's. the it will feel like the return of winter full blast tomorrow but if you like the warmth, it looks like the next two weeks of january are going to be above average on the whole and possiblely as much as ten to 15 degrees above average over next several weeks. we have to get through tomorrow. lets look at what is happening right now we will go outside to the roof cam, just outside on the skies deck. chilly but nice night out walking around, you need coat, it is january after all, it is traditionally our coldest part of the year from mid-january into early february, temperatures in the upper 30's on average, to around 40. and mid 40's even. we should be enjoying it, and feels cold compared to yesterday. storm scan three showing some rain, some snow, some sleet, starting to break out along this next system. this is one we are watching for tomorrow, riding the

boundary here cold air to the north, warm air to the south and wave along that boundary pro tuesdaying rain across kentucky, it has been pro tuesdaying dangerous it'sing all day there portions of oklahoma, kansas, through missouri and southern illinois as well. for us, this is going to mainly stay to to the south but we will see snow break out on the thorn edge. you can see it already happening to the south and west, that is what is impacting us tomorrow. so future weather we will time it out at 2:00 a.m. just cloudy, dry, start to see a little bit of snow down there in the bottom of your screen but, really by 9:00 o'clock tomorrow morning it is dry. if you have errand don't mine driving in the snow, light nuisance snow get out, get everything done and in the afternoon that is when we will start to see snow break out across the area. notice down the shore, or this delaware this may change over to sleet or rain, and possibly some freezing rain especially in the evening once the sun goes down. for the rest of us this is a light snow mixed with sleet at times and it fizzles really quickly by 4:00 o'clock it is
